What data do we collect?

TimeWinder collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Company information (Name, customers, employees, time reports etc.)
  • The mobile application temporarily collects data that could be used to identify a user’s location.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide TimeWinder with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily provide information about the employees, company or customers.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Use or view our mobile application via the operating system’s geofence API.

How will we use your data?

TimeWinder collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your account.
  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
  • Provide you a service for managing and creating time reports.
  • Generate time reports automatically without user interaction.

How do we store your data?

TimeWinder securely stores your data at a Google data center in Europe. All sensitive information such as passwords are encrypted and salted. Access tokens have a short TTL (time to live) to prevent prolonged intrusion if an attacker were to be able to compromise your account.

TimeWinder will keep your company information (time reports, customers, etc.) for a time period of at least 7 years (as required by Swedish accounting laws) or until you request for this data to be deleted.

TimeWinder will keep your location identifiable data for a maximum of 72 hours or until you have exited the geofence (your place of work). Once this time period has expired, we will delete your location identifiable data completely from our database.

Marketing

TimeWinder would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop TimeWinder from contacting you for marketing purposes.

TimeWinder would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request TimeWinder for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that TimeWinder transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
